The company MASA is participating in the 1st National Green Hydrogen Congress, to be held in Huelva from 7 to 9 February 2024. The event, promoted by the Huelva Federation of Entrepreneurs (FOE), will bring together more than 200 leading companies in the sector and 20 national associations, clusters and unified national valleys.

With a decidedly business and industrial focus, the 1st National Green Hydrogen Congress will be attended by more than 40 panelists, CEOs of leading companies, as well as national and international speakers who will share real experiences and ambitious investment plans in the green hydrogen sector.

MASA's General Manager, Francesc Suils Fuentes, will present a perspective on the essential role of the auxiliary industry in H2V projects. On the other hand, Assembly Manager José Miguel Barranco Rosa will address the challenges and opportunities that decarbonisation presents for a utility company. MASA's active participation promises to bring valuable insights to key discussions on maintenance and sustainability.

In addition, there will be an extensive exhibition area and a networking space, where the participating companies will make presentations and develop joint business actions.

This congress, unanimously supported by the Green Hydrogen and renewable energy sectors, is presented as a unique opportunity to highlight the key role of green hydrogen in economic development and everyday life. In addition to the institutional support of the Regional Government of Andalusia, Huelva City Council and Huelva Provincial Council, the event will be sponsored by leading companies in the energy industry, such as Cepsa, MASA, Siemens Energy, Enagás, Fertiberia, Exolum, Atlantic Copper, Hiperbaric, Grundfos, Veolia, Telam, Navantia and Iberdrola, among others.

The city of Huelva, with its privileged position in the new global Green Hydrogen market, will be the ideal venue for this congress, which will address crucial issues such as resources (electricity, water, electrolysers), chemical industry, transport, steel and cement, auxiliary industry, logistics, storage and distribution, regulations and training.

This meeting point is positioned as a vital space to promote Spain's potential in the production of Green Hydrogen and its derived applications, both for internal consumption and for export to Europe and the world. The congress, which will bring together public administrations, companies, research, technological development and innovation organisations, is presented as a forum for continuity aimed at promoting the exchange of ideas and experiences between industry, companies, the Administration and society, with the participation of top level speakers.
