In order to strengthen and enhance the key competencies and leadership skills of our site managers and project managers, MASA is carrying out a training course specially designed for them.

Traditionally, the performance of this group has depended on the training and personal experience of each individual, so there is no homogeneous style of management and supervision of work teams. With this training we seek to improve this aspect. The programme entitled «Skills for Site Managers», is being carried out with the consultancy firm Global Market.

The objectives of the course are:

  • Maximise customer involvement and focus on the company's objectives in relation to the customer
  • Developing an effective management and supervisory style
  • Increasing team productivity through improved planning and organisation

In order to achieve these objectives, the training has been structured in five sessions, with the following contents:

  • Team building and communication
  • Internal and external customer management
  • Leadership and motivation
  • Personal and team planning
  • Closing and summary of key concepts

The first two sessions have already taken place in 2023. The next ones are planned for the remainder of this year and next 2024. Several of our site managers and project managers are participating in the programme. The objective is, in the short term, to extend it to the rest of this group and to the company's middle management.

With this initiative we hope to strengthen those competencies and skills that we consider key for our site managers to successfully coordinate and lead multidisciplinary work teams.
