Expoquimia, Eurosurfas and Equiplast, the three leading trade fair events for the chemical, surface treatment and plastics sectors, will be held from 14 to 18 September at Fira de Barcelona's Gran Via exhibition centre, bringing together the leading companies and main associations in these sectors.

With an expected participation of more than 600 direct exhibitors, the joint celebration of the Expoquimia, Equiplast and Eurosurfas is the leading trade fair platform for applied chemistry in southern Europe, where all the initiatives that point to future trends in three sectors that are fundamental for socio-economic development are presented.

The salons organised by Fira de Barcelona will be one of the first industrial events to be organised in Europe following the outbreak of the pandemic. They will take place from 14 to 17 September in Hall 3 of the Gran Vía exhibition centre, with the aim of accelerating initiatives committed to the environment and boosting professional meetings and business in these industries.

In this sense, the president of the Association of Industrial Companies of Tarragona (AEST), Javier Almandoz, has highlighted «The importance in the current circumstances of participating in this fair to boost the industrial maintenance sector, with an association of a hundred key companies in the development of the chemical sector in Tarragona. In addition to the 7,500 direct jobs it generates».

Sustainability, digitisation and technology transfer. Expoquimia, Equiplast, Eurosurfas, which this year Industry is joining, are reaffirming their position as the leading trade fair platform for applied chemistry in southern Europe, which in this edition will focus on digitalisation, technology transfer, circular economy and sustainability, the great present and future challenges of these three sectors.

MASA GROUP participates in the 19th edition of this national meeting of the industry in a stand of the AEST association shared by seven representative companies of the sector: MASA GRUPO, BC Solutions, Grup Helco, Lagupres, Proacit, Solarca and Sorigué. The stand is located in hall 3, level 0, street E and stand 151.
