MASA has been awarded the contract to carry out the mechanical assembly of the Works-1 (MM-1) block corresponding to the ALBA Project at the Repsol Polymers facilities, in the Sines Industrial Complex (Portugal).
The estimated duration of the project is 14 months, and involves the execution of multiple tasks, such as the installation of 40 tonnes of structures and supports, as well as the connection of 900 tonnes of piping with diameters ranging from 8 to 48 inches. In addition, a new 120-metre-high flare, static (91 tonnes) and dynamic (88 tonnes) equipment will be installed.
The award of this contract is an important achievement for MASA, as it confirms its position as one of the leading companies in the sector of maintenance, construction and assembly of industrial plants and infrastructures.
